Over the past few days, we have discussed extensively the HOW of becoming an Author.
Today, I’d share with you why you should be an author:
Authority in your Field: writing a book in your field of human endeavour validates your legitimacy. A book is a tangible terms of reference that shows your expertise in that field. You want to stamp your authority as an expert in your field? Then Author a book!
Improved Knowledge Base: Remember when you were studying a subject formally or informally, you had to refer to books right? Writing a book on your area of expertise/profession/experience is your opportunity to contribute to that knowledge base.
Because You Can: YES, become an Author simply because you can. Do you have a burning desire, a passionate drive to impact your world? Then write a book about this since you are able to.
Opportunities: Becoming an Author will open you up to incredible platforms, people & places. Often a well written, no fluff quality book can become your access card to speaking, collaborative opportunities.
Income: A book is a digital product that you write once but has the ability to keep giving you an income. When you are able to automate the marketing, payment & delivery of your book; you will be able to cash out from it again & again!!!
Immortality: A book is a proven way of leaving an indelible mark in the sands of time. Being an Author makes you an immortal, with the ability to keep impacting your world beyond the grave.
